A weekend at Keepit Dam

Team Loomzy’s Fish N Fix enjoys a weekend at Keepit Dam. We fished the most recent event at Lake keepit, had a great time and the fishing wasn’t half bad either.

Fishing with Paul Browne we ended up overall winners with 15/15 Yellowbelly with a total length of 6195 mm. Most of the fish were caught in the timber using Jackall Mask Vibes and TN 60’s. Either slow rolling vertically up the tree or casting from the deeper water creek beds up into the shallows and slow rolling back through the timber. A lot a fish hit the lure as it rolled over the timber and the colour of the TN’s didnt matter you just had to keep it slow

The Yella Comps are fun, friendly comp with a relaxed atmosphere. These comps see a good number of Dad’s fishing with their Son or Daughter. It is a great entry level comp.

The next event is at Burrendong on the 27th and 28th  April, 2013.
